Paul,
No disrespect to Walter, but I don't think that you should get pressured into buying WIND. Do you own evaluation, here is how I look at it.
ISI brought over a very strong balance sheet, which will help us in short term.
TMS seems to be taking off. This will provide some mid term growth.
I2O is something that we have been waiting to explode. It is still not clear when it is taking off, but give it another year, do you see Intel based servers exploding? I hope to see it.
What about autoPC, VxWorks for cell phones, STBs, smart homes, cable/DSL modem, and many many more?
My feeling is that there is still risk in WIND. It better show good numbers after selling its story to Wall Street. What if it doesn't deliver, which has happened before? But what is the likelihood for Fidler to do something like it? Very slim, in my opinion.
I consider WIND as a speculative buy at this point, because I don't have trust in Fidler and Kraber. Let the numbers speak. That's the only reliable source that I will be using. If WRS is really as great as everyone here would like to believe, don't worry about being left out. You still have years of time to buy it, though you might miss the initial run.
