These guys blew it but I am surprised that this is being seen as a sector problem. Xicor is a great story blown up by management's inability to setup and meet executions. With decent execution XICO is probably as good a value as AMD Charles XICO's blowup not only hurt the semi's but the telecom sector as well. There was an implication in their CC that slowing sales of wireless phones and the like reduced their orders for Q2. There was speculation that flash shortages were behind the slowing sales. As if we didn't have enough to worry about, the wall of worry just got bigger. ted
