Royal Dutch/Shell To Take Part In Libya Talks On Wednesday
AFX (UK), May 8

Royal Dutch/Shell Group will take part Wednesday in talks in Libya alongside other parties on exploration and production-sharing, a Shell spokesman said.

The spokesman added that Shell is interested in the Libyan market, where it does not yet have a presence.
He declined to give details of the level of representation at the talks nor on the content of the talks.

The Middle East Economic Survey (MEES) earlier reported that the head of Libya's National Oil Corp (NOC), Abdullah al-Badri, has invited international oil and gas companies to Tripoli Wednesday to discuss exploration and production-sharing agreements.
