Could you explain more about what this means?

I don't get it. Net income negative is the same as loss as far as I know.

You seem to be saying that the company decided to choose that moment to lose money. That may be the way results get reported in these crazy times but it doesn't alter the fact that the company ended the quarter with less money than it started with.
