Hi Leigh;
What's your take Gentry's financials just released?Here is the gist of what I have been able to glean from the NR:

Several points that struck me included:
*Record cash flow...up 267% from 1998
*Cash flow per share up ~200% from previous year
*Reserve life index now 13.6 years(30% growth)
*Now pumping in excess of 1078 boe/d

Outlook

*Production at Thornberry will be further increased this year with additional plant compression; evaluation of an exciting Devonian prospect discovered by recent seismics.

*Further production increases through additional drilling at Baldwinton this year.

*Further gas drilling on the Barra lands in the second and third quarter.

*Further growth in NAV through exploration planned by Sloane in Southern Alberta.

*Further growth in NAV through Gentry's 40% interest in Stratic....which is now preparing for an exciting exploration program in Egypt, Gabon and Cote d" Ivoire.

*Continued pursuit of low to medium risk opportunities in Western Canada.

*Targetting production growth in excess of 25% for 2000.

Looks to me that Gentry shareholders are in for an exciting and rewarding 2000.

Regards,

Len
