Magnatizer,

I could not agree more. I always start with my 8 and swing it until every target possible has be hit quite a few times. I work it hard and soft and then high and low to get a good feel for ball flight. I find this feel applies to all the other irons and really helps me "see" the intended path.

For the first couple of months I was not even hitting my driver as I didn't plan on using it on the course.

I watch people at the range and I understand why the pet rock was a sales and marketing hit. One of the biggest themes in that book by Shoemaker I mentioned is awareness. There are lots of people out there with no game plan and zero awareness. Thats ok as long as they are not hitting into me from the 150 stake (this actually happened to me on Monday night). lol

Have a good one all.
