Mr. Ectomy,

As part of the Windows OS, you can save CPU and RAM when you minimize any application. As far as minimizing bandwidth usage, the only way to do that is by eliminating the multiple QCharts sessions, and possibly substituting 1-2 sessions with using the Workspace Hotkeys (i.e. File - Hotkey Workspaces Setup).
