AMES was featured on the PBS stations in the evening news, yesterday.

AMES downscaling vs. Kmart's upscaling.

Joe and Rolando were quoted. Some merchandise were discussed. In general, an upbeat review of the low income customers which consists of 38% of the US population. 82% of AMES customers paid cash for merchandise. Layaway plan was used for purchases.

Interesting that PBS viewers are upscale customers. I think Joe is using tongue in cheek free advertzing to get the PBS viewers into AMES' bargain by the bagful strategy. I wish AMES will keep track of this free publicity to see if more affluent customers visit the stores. The news segment was done by WGBH in Boston, aired 6pm prime time across united states, yesterday. More free advertizing on all TV stations should be a definite plan for AMES.

Anymore free publicity to get frugal upscale customers and this stock will go thru the roof?
