well it could be like this.

1) someone setsup a website to discuss their view on stocks
2) they join SI (pay the fee)
3) they setup a moderated thread to discuss their view and at the same time refer people over to their subscription only website
4) people start posting.
5) all negative contrary posts get banned/removed
6) lots of positivity gets posted.
7) people browse past this thread (by chance).
8) they see the wonderful news and how great this person is at prediction.
9) they visit the person's website
10) they pay the $500 yearly subscription to be kept informed.
11) months later they actually invest following those decisions
12) months later they lose it all (oops)
13) sometime later they don't renew their yearly website subscription $500
14) they post their negative experience back on SI
15) they are banned from the thread
16) the creator complains about the slandar and has them banned permanently from SI

That could happen....
