I have no problem with you waiting to pick gappers but if this thread is about making money then why not post the ask price along with our picks so people can see what they would have to pay for the stock if they were to buy it at that moment. And then maybe figure the percentage of gain from the posted ask price to the bid at the close and this would eliminate the spread from coming into play.
