Rangers? lol. This is a city course. If you are in the last group they have a guy that drives around behind you pulling the pins at the end of the day. I think this is the only course employee I have ever seen on the course.

I have been playing for about 10 years I guess. Three times it escalated to a stand-off. Twice on a city course in Pontiac (we heard gunshots on one of the tee boxes as the back nine borders a very rough part of town). The third time I was playing with two crazy brothers who also play hockey (you are nobody if you don't play hockey in Detroit, BTW I don't play it). We were hit into twice by the same moron and the two brothers started a very ugly scene. Trust me I would not want to be anywhere near these two when the fighting starts. I stood my ground and made my statement. It goes like this, "I don't believe in fighting, I don't want to fight, I won't throw a punch at you no matter what you call me or say, but if you throw a punch at me you are going to bleed". I am not a big guy (about 5-10 170 lbs), but I can scare the hell out of most of them. This guy was a good 250 and had at least 3 inches on my reach.

The world is full of angry people. I try to avoid them.

One of the times in Pontiac is a pretty good story but I will have to save that for another time. The day job calls.

Keep swingin (golf clubs I mean!).
