well, i was a happy camper courtesy of CA. i was long a boatload of Platinum Software when they took it over. by a stroke of luck i had bought the shares one week before the acquisition was announced.... my bet is btw. that lots of 'pooling of interest' acquisitions will come under scrutiny now. it's a a typical bear market phenomenon. as soon as stock prices begin to fall, people begin to look at all the shenanigans they never worried about as long as stocks only went up.
