Hello Bill. Yes. Abby started this ball rolling by talking about reducing her exposure to the techs but left all her targets in place and then GS turned around and invested in this tech company in Asia? Right now it is senseless to listen to any analyst. I don't think they have any more clues than we do where things are going from day to day. Right now it's rotation, rotation and rotation again. GS also downgraded all the retailers, but a lot of them are coming back. WMT for instance. It's just a yo yo game right now. All I know is that this market does not look too good right now. I guess Greenspan and Abby can slap each other on the back. I have been discussing this DIS and TWX mess. It would have been better if TWX had negotiated some more before cutting off DIS. Now Carnard (sp.) squawked about cable lines yesterday. Up til now he felt cable cos. should regulate themselves. All we need now is more GOVT intervention. Sheesh. I am with you. Let Tuesday come already and get this stuff over with. But you and I both know that Tuesday will not be the end of the volatility in the markets. BTW. It's pretty interesting what 1 article by a writer can do to a company. CSCO had good earnings and growth and it's down today. Money manager Gustafson said yesterday that this writer was off base. Right now it looks like all you have to do is say boo to a stock and it will tank. If this keeps on going, I may be able to pick up some CSCO. Hope things turn around soon. I guess we are getting a lesson again that you can't fight the FED and the houses. Sonny PS. About your oil post. Oil cos. wield more power than AOL. We have fought over oil. I doubt it that we will ever do this over Msft or AOL. Besides. It's a lot easier to snuff live out of those cos. etc. etc. etc. gg.
