DocStone: You do realize that Comcast did not disavow any of the news reports? Yesterday was a turning point for ATHM. Yesterday's actions caused analysts to issue "Strong Buy" recommendations (Prudential and Warburg). Yesterday got a lot of institutional attention. Even ATHM and T didn't come out with statements against the idea. At these prices, a lot of the downside risk has been taken out of the stock. If you own hold. If you don't, take a small position. Certainly, don't short. What rational reason would you have to do that? And, for that matter why sell if you are holding a position? If an offer is made or if the institutions after crunching their numbers discover that an adjustment to recent valuations are in order, you will wake-up one morning facing a wide gap up. You'll kick yourself for having sold.
