Just for TESTS

If you read carefully, the MH purchases were for tests mainly. Not TESTS of VOD necessarily, but tests of their own distribution infrastructure. CCUR made it easy to buy a small VOD server with a few movies, others didn't.

It's an entirely different picture if you want to build out and maintain a service 100,000+ streams(1M subs) and 1000 titles in a metro area. You don't do it with 300 servers and 9000 disk drives when it can be done with 10 servers and 300 disk drives.

You can disagree all you want, still doesn't change the facts of the matter.

I suppose by your theory NASA should have used a bunch of Estes Rockets to send man to the moon.
