New Managed Care Contract With United
HealthCare of Oregon Covering 1.7 Million
Members


LAKE FOREST, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2000--I-Flow Corp. (Nasdaq:IFLO - news)
announced today that its InfuSystem subsidiary has won the networkwide contract to provide infusion
pump management services to the 1.7 million covered managed care members of United HealthCare of
Oregon.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

I-Flow President and Chief Executive Officer Donald M. Earhart said: ``We are very pleased to be
associated with United HealthCare of Oregon and look forward to working with their healthcare
professionals to provide quality infusion therapy services to their members. InfuSystem's cost-effective
infusion pump management service program will help their providers maintain their high standards of care,
while we focus on such critical concerns as equipment maintenance, pump protocols, obsolescence and
compliance requirements.''

He added that with this contract InfuSystem now has secured nearly 67 million lives under managed care
contracts.

InfuSystem Vice President of Managed Care Daniel McColl said: ``This new contract with United
HealthCare of Oregon strengthens our market position and enhances our ability to expand pump
management services and provide infusion therapy products to new patients. The growth in our managed
care program that comes with each new contract strengthens our ability to provide first-rate service to a
