In the FWIW department: Cymer yesterday broke the trend line off the bottoms for the past two years. Volume so far today has equaled average daily volume per Yahoo so it should be high for the day. We have closed the gap up from last October (?). AMAT reports tomarrow and the information should be positive. So far we are off close to 10 points this week so this has been an "easy" short but at this rate we rapidly go to the '98 low! Net, we could go either way (it does appear to be a bear market after all) but I would bet up. Just a hunch and no one else is talking about a rally before next week after the FED meets.
