Nope never should. Especially at the size CSCO is. Possibly in its earlier years this was appropriate.

But you know those mutual fund professional managers, they dig deep in their research. Buy even more CSCO for the fund everyday I bet.

Thats why I do not usually recommend mutual funds. Any idiot can invest in the same stocks these funds are loaded up on. It doesn't take any research, any foresight, any high level thought. Lets just pile into them. Its easy bidding up stocks like CSCO with somebody else's money. I suggest that people do it themselves if they want, and forgo the management fee.
