Yes, I am very pleased with the way things are going, and agree that the McCain endorsement has not been adequately gauged. I cannot get why they talk about Dubya's smirk, when Clinton, from the first time I saw him in a candidate debate in '92, had on one of those shoe- polish <VBG> eating grins that one associates with conmen and used car salesmen, and no one took notice in print. Could it have something to do with Dubya being a Republican? (Wholly rhetorical, of course). It doesn't look smirky to me, in any case, but good- natured and relaxed......
