NEWKIDCO APPOINTS VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY VETERAN SAM GOLDBERG AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF PUBLISHING

BURLINGTON, MA (September 30, 1999) - NewKidCo International Inc. (TSE:NKC ; OTC BB:NKCIF) has named video game industry veteran Sam Goldberg to the newly formed position of Executive Vice President of Publishing, for it's subsidiary NewKidCo, LLC.

In his new position, Mr. Goldberg will report to NewKidCo, LLC President, Hank Kaplan and be responsible for overseeing NewKidCo's product development, marketing and licensing efforts. He will create all marketing plans and initiatives designed to increase awareness and maximize revenues for NewKidCo, help secure high profile licenses based on popular children's properties and pursue new strategic partnerships.

Prior to forming SG&A Marketing Services, Inc., Mr. Goldberg served as Vice President of Marketing for Acclaim Entertainment for eight years, where he spearheaded the award winning marketing campaigns for two of the best-selling video games of all time, Mortal Kombat and NBA JAM.
