Goutama, on option exchanges bid-ask spreads. Some of the exchanges guarantee to honor the quoted bid or ask price for up to 10 or 20 contracts. Others don't. PACX is one that does, unless they declare a "fast market." You might want to request routing there.

I was immediately filled on my order for 4 July 90's today at the ask.

Then again, you might be doing way more than 10-20.
