Scared, re: "Who makes Freon?" Freon is a trademark of Dupont. Unfortunately, it doesn't mix well with the ozone layer so it isn't exactly a growth industry. On the other hand, the price of recycled freon is on a rocket ride. My local auto repair shop charges $20 a pound for the stuff! Craig
