Hi John,
There's been no news on CII for so long that I'd almost forgotten that I own some of this stock. I used to call the IR person, Adam Rabiner, but all I was getting was that 'he really couldn't say much because everything was hush, hush but that as soon as something broke he'd e-mail me pronto, etc.' Hence, why call?
When they announced that they had a deal (makings of a deal?) to be the temperature control agent of choice of Wyest-Aherst, especially for a drug/vaccine such as Prevnar, I thought we would very quickly hear about volumes that would be needed and what all this might mean to the bottom line for CII. But, I was wrong - again. I also would have thought, if you wanted to launch a real PR campaign, that this is the sort of thing that you could use to your advantage. Wrong - again. Duh!!
As you know, they have started some sort of PR campaign - mainly in the Western USA (California, Washington, Oregon?) via paid weekly 'infomercials' on business radio. So far they don't seem to be having much impact (stock trading at $0.70 on very low volumes) although I was told that the IR people have been sending out plenty of IR kits to interested parties.
There's a thread on Stockhouse that I read from time to time. But all I see there is a few hypters who post about being patient and we'll get the goods in time and a stock of $6.00 by this Fall. I can't understand how somebody can write that sort of stuff day in, day out, but they do. There's only one contrarian over on that thread - someone who calls himself LongLadd.
Anyway, hope springs eternal and I'm 'hoping' that someday we'll hear about the acquisition of Northland becoming a reality. I'm hoping that sales have really picked up so that they are at least able to meet expenses. Finally, I'm hoping that the much talked about BB listing on the NASDAQ will come to fruition.
That's a lot of hoping - I know but what else can there be with this stock. So much promise - hope there is still hope!
