This should cause another shortage of MB for PC's hopefully AMD can take advantage of this latest INTC blunder.

I think the impact will not be significant enough to be felt in the market place. The shipments of 820 + MTH + SDRAM were pretty much halted even before this recall by non-existent market demand. 1 million motherboards, compared to about 60+ million chips sold during the time the chipset was around is peanuts.
