Consumers won. Better product, dropping prices, better performance. Manufactors won. One published standard to produce for instead of a dozen flavors of DDR. Samsung won - big time! Rambus won - BIGGEST! Collecting royalties. Shorts at 80-130 lost. Shorts at 130-300 won or lost depending on timing. Shorts at 340+ won. AMD on the sidelines but will lose unless they put that K7 Rambus board out soon! VIA permanently on the sidelines. I won - bought in big at 80.
