If this is like the 98 selloff, then there would have to be no inflation and no Fed rate increases. In 98, the selloff was sparked, in a great way, by the Asian crisis. The Fed stepped up to the plate slammed through a series of rate drops from an already historically low level. The Fed also opened up the money supply floodgates. The Fed saved, probably, the world economy.

Then, it was good to buy during the market selloff.

This ain't nothing like 1998. It is more like 1968. Really, I am not BSing this. Read up on it.
