Re: Mostly what I know about chips is that I'm a shareholder in a company who is selling the SNOT out of computers with a comparitvely slow and out of date one (Ultra II) and doesn't seem all that worried about rushing it's replacement JC, Yes they have, but the gap is widening and the chant is getting louder, gotta get to UltraSparcIII, gotta get to UltraSparcIII, gotta get to UltraSparcIII... We'll see what they are saying over the next few months. Tommorrow IBM intro's the whole copper based RS/6000 line and on next Tuesday CPQ intro's the Wildfire which they claim will be 60% faster than the IBM SP80, but all SUNW investors know that performance is irrelivent, right? Please don't spam the thread JC, I've been reading the thread since before I was a member of SI. I can't help that I got a "cool post" today and you guys chose to rip me down. Before today, I've avoided posting on this thread. Keep focusing on IBM's past, it will help you sleep better on your SUNW shares. Ignore IBM's future, it means nothing chic (who's loving AMD more and more as every day goes by) PS- JC, I promise not to post here again unless it's in response to a new post directed at me. I'm not a spammer.
