Lenox Polymers Regretfully Announces The Death Of Its President

PORT HURON, MICHIGAN--It is with much regret that the Board of Directors of Lenox Polymers Limited announce the sudden death of Mr. Ken Kurple, President and C.E.O. Mr. Kurple was killed suddenly following an automobile accident on May, 4, 2000.

The family has requested a private funeral, and that a public Memorial Service be held at a later date in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Kurple's birthplace. More information will be forthcoming as arrangements are made.

Those who had the opportunity to work closely with Mr. Kurple knew his drive and determination to provide the company with a strong technological base. This will be his legacy, which we believe will become apparent to all shareholders over the weeks to follow.

The Directors have requested that the cease order for trading of the company's common shares remain in effect until the shareholders have been provided with written notification of the necessary changes which must occur.

Mr. Kurple leaves behind his wife Connie, and their five sons Eric, Alex, Karl, Kurt and Nathan, their loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the "The Wasyl and Joseph Educational Foundation" and/or "Notre Dame High School, Harper Woods", in care of 3735 Dove Road, Port Huron, Michigan 48060.

In respect to Mr. Kurple and his family, the company's office will remain closed until Wednesday May 10th, 2000.
On behalf of the Board, Lenox Polymers Ltd.
