Zeev,

1. In the conference call, I believe that during the Q&A, it was divulged that 9 2001 greenfield fabs will be 300MM.

IMO, this is quite significant; and will force the rest of the major players to aggressively proceed with 300mm plans or lose market share.

2. During the WFR conference call, it was stated that there's sufficient 300 mm wafer capacity to handle requirements at least until 2002. In any case, the 300mm equipment is ordered, installed and revenues / earnings generated for the equipment companies well before the first 300mm wafer rolls off a production line.

3. Finally, the chip market will reach $200B due to capacity constraints. Stories that I read indicate that Demand now exceeds capacity and that the shortfall will grow throughout the year.

So my reading of fundamentals is at sharp odds with yours; although I agree with your assessment of the technicals on a very short term basis. (imo - days rather than months, as I believe the fundamentals will become more obvious and resume driving the stock prices sooner rather than later.)

Best wishes,
Ian.
