Glenn, imhop this is where its at for Bezos...international sales.
>International expansion: Bezos said international sales accounted for 22 percent of the company's business last year, at $358 million. The company owns the first-, second- and third-most visited Web sites in Europe: the U.S., German and British versions of the Amazon.com site.

Bezos said foreign growth might eclipse domestic growth in the long run. The company's extensive selection of products, for instance, is popular in Japan, where it's hard to build big-box stores because of land constraints. Bezos said the company has a similar advantage in Europe, where most stores close by 5 p.m.
