o/t re: financials

JimL - actually; I am 60:40 tech to oilpatch here; but will sell the tech bounce that I envision is coming off the Fed news in light of this retail report and the market digesting the "real" non-existance of mid-long term inflation.

I think the Financials lag a bit, but one allmost HAS to be nibbling here - the one's I like are mid-cap S&L's, Fleet First Boston "was" my fav' financial - only got 100 shares for my LT acct - none in my "main" trading acct, it took off from me here, I should have loaded it up. I'll only try to catch WM as a large cap, but names like GSB SVRN and some small cap S&L's that are slow to react are what I will focus on - I may go 5-7-10% of my trading acct off of taking some NAZ bounce profits hopefully next week.

Looking to be out of Gold Stocks and replacing that 7-10% position with financials next week, and then going back to :

55 % Oilpatch
35% Tech
10% Financials

If the PPI if soft tomorrow - we rally in the NAZ !

Bond market commentary is saying the NAZ sold off too hard...
