You know I can remember playing a game of Pong at the Roma
Pizzeria, next to the Greyhound bus station, in Vallejo, CA (home of
Mare Island Naval Shipyard) right after I got out of the service. That was
24 years ago. I recall I was not too good at the game but my
friend Fluff who had been playing it for a while was a PongDaddy.
I believe the next big video game to take over was Astroids, followed
by Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, and "the thing that ate the monsters
when they turned blue". Ah to think of my care free youth.

Anyway, PS2, will be a monster application. If it will hit in the USA is
another matter. Asian may use the device and exploit its many capabilities;
while the USA discovers the next big thing. Regardless of how it takes
off, the PS2 will be good for worldwide disk drive sales.
