engineer: Since CDMA was packet switched enabled and could -and can - use full IP, does this help to understand why Dr J. sees little need for WAP? Seems like Qualcomm is in by far the best position to link to the internet (or intranet) using standard protocol so WAP just slows the process rather than make it possible to cut out stuff to cut and paste within the slow speeds of GSM and TDMA. Does WAP add any useful element to CDMA? WAP seems to be a necessary precondition to data over GSM and/or TDMA, no? Could you comment on this please? Best. Chaz
