Hope all is well in Paris. On US retail sales a point to keep in mind. April was a wet month on the east coast and this would have been a factor in lower sales.

I agree with many points in your last post. On tomorrows PPI with it being a trailing indicator we may still have the oil increases showing up from early in the year. It can still spook the market and make today a one day reprieve. Just guessing we won't know till tomorrow.

If the #'s are ok and the fed only has to raise once more the down trend may be over. It will still take time to repair the technical damage but we should rally.
