Speculativestock.com comments on halting
"With the stunning turnaround yesterday from an opening price of $1.40 to a close of $2.03 on incredible volume, we have to assume something big is up. Especially since the stock was halted by the exchange this moring pending clarification of the companies affairs and disclosure.
We know the company's property in Wells has been given a very critical look by nearly all the major gold producers and that Teck was apparently the last visitor early this week for, we believe, a third look, while they were preceeded last week by Barrick and Hunter Dickinson and Anglogold. The week prior Homestake was on site as well as Placer Dome.
The significance of this discovery is still not fully realized. This is not a pump and dump based upon some minor mineralisation. This is, in our opinion, a major discovery that could have far reaching effects.
We have postulated on a number of ocassions that this new discovery is one of the zones where the Placer Gold comes from after William Dietz found gold in Williams Creek ( named after Dietz )in 1859 but that became the famed Cariboo Gold Rush, in 1861 after Billy Barker struck payload by digging down to bed rock and hauling out gold by the pound.
We know the new zone of gold contains massive and minor sulphides that hold the gold however we have heard unsubstantiated rumors the discovery has gold in two forms. Free milling and tied up in the sulphides. If this is the case, it becomes clear that the free milling gold will be washed out by hydraulic action into the creeks and streams which would create the Placer deposits found in the Barkerville and Wells areas. No one however, to our knowledge, fully understands how these placer deposits were created in areas where there does not appear to be a mother lode.
In the event we are correct that this is the mother lode we do not expect it to be the only one and the whole area on both sides of Williams Creek and the surrounding streams may also host this type of deposit.Because of the location of the new zone it is more than likely also the source of the placer deposits in Lowhee Creek on the Wells side of the mountain.
Going back to the halt trading, we would assume because of the number of major companies actively doing their due diligence on the property, that one of them has made a move in regard to Wayside and this information in todays electronically wired world is getting around like wildfire.
If this is the case and we make every assumption that it is, then this stock will skyrocket when it reopens.
Until then, happy sitting waiting for announcement time for eveyone.
