No it doesn't

Mani,

Sorry you didn't like Cramer's article but I still think its very appropriate for what's happening in the markets.

Just for the record, I have access to the same numbers as you, and know what the fundamentals are for many of the companies you bought this AM. They're great...I don't disagree with your choices in terms of their recent earnings. However the markets are not looking at was happened in the past or what is happening now but what will happen in the future. You keep wanting to focus on only the micro and I have to look at both the micro and the macro.

In general AMAT gave a good report last nite....but it wasn't quite good enough in this market, and that's why its up and down this AM. But the problem is not so much AMAT but that the future looks very problematical.....will the FEDS tighten too much?; is a recession looming? Until the markets resolve these issues to most investors' satisfaction, we will be very volatile...up and down all the time...it was like this last summer....it was very frustrating. I remember it very clearly.

So I am very cautious...I am only buying very good companies with good earnings and good projections whose charts on not damaged....AMAT and AMD are on that list; COHU is not.

Good luck on your trades.

ted
