SNC-Lavalin Acquires CAE's Energy Control Systems Division
MAY 11, 2000 MONTREAL, QUEBEC--SNC-Lavalin has signed an agreement with CAE Electronics through which SNC-Lavalin will acquire CAE's Energy Control Systems Division, which provides SCADA applications and specialized systems for the control and monitoring of electrical power generation, transmission and distribution. The sale, deployment and servicing of these real-time computer-based integrated software and hardware solutions have been provided to utilities around the world for some 40 years. The transaction is expected to close by the end of May.
