Good post Walter. I am just lamenting on the woulda, coulda, shoulda, part. I like the merger, I think we all believe Ancor has incredible potential with its high margin products like the 64 & 128 Port Directors that will be taking off within a year. Upon reflecting on the whole thing, it is just hard for me to see Ancor valued at .5 shares(.75 shares for each Qlogic share to 1 for 1 would of been better, but hey we haven't ramped fast enough to deserve that). I am very impressed with Qlogic's management and I believe Ken is doing what is best for the shareholders. I think that Qlogic will maximize the value of Ancor's technology and create new value out of products that would never have existed had the merger not happened. This is probably the last time I will lament over the would, coulda, shoulda, and just be happy we are in the game on a team that has no equal.
