Pat: Thanks for the information from Interop. Just two points... GTE made a comment that size and power are still an issue... but they didn't indicate the vendor. WSTL has CAP... AMTX has DMT, which vendor should I think has the power and size issues? The TI chip will be a non-standard solution... MOT will be the only standard category II solution. AMTX would be happy seeing WSTL, Ericsson, NetSpeed, etc wait around for the MOT solution and sell a non-standard TI DMT solution. Is AMTX really interested in a standard solution. What other vendor has signed up to use the TI solution?... it seems they are the only vendor..... until later.
