Most of the people who were selling yesterday do not know the first thing about what higher interest rate really means for the economy or how it effects companies earnings. They were just regurgitating what they hear on CNBC or CNN-FN.

Maybe the people selling yesterday were simply "the herds",
listening to CNBC but I think it also was "the herds" buying today. In the meantime there is a whole group of people who are not buying or selling right now and volumes are way down. That tells me something.

BTW a couple of weeks ago someone on this thread predicted that AMD had seen the last of the 70's.....surprise! Markets are unpredictable and that's why I use everything available to me to determine whether I buy or sell or hold.
