I am expecting a 25 basis increase with a tightening bias.

As I stated earlier, those people saying that 25 is bad for the market are way off base. It just means we could get another 25 next meeting if inflation is still in the system but they are taking a wait and see approach in that approach. I don't believe 50 in one shot with a neutral bias is better than 25 with a tightening bias--especially if the numbers tomorrow and Tuesday are tame.

The economic numbers will be the key--even more important than the FED (just as Robert Rubin noted on TV)

Stocks like JDSU might have to wait longer before they make major moves. That is because it is widely held and the bigger cap techs (with lower PEs) are likely to move up first. Smaller optical plays have a better chance. Others like PMCS will probably gain more as well in a rebounding market. Of course a catalyst such as the merger approval would change that in a big way.
