I assume that what you mean is that your brokerage firm bought for your account 1000 shares of GMST at 62 1/2 as a result of an assignment, when the holder exercised his options.

Any particular reason why the owner of the puts should wait another 11 days until Monday, May 22, to collect his $62,500?
