Andrew: The following post contained lots of useful information regarding Cymer's production: exchange2000.com They shipped 84 lasers in the first quarter, and are estimating the total market for excimer lasers to be 440 for this year and 530 for next. As for Cymer itself, that's not a whole lot of growth over the next two years considering Cymer's P/E and the fact that their market share can only go down. As for the stepper makers I don't know what to think. I have a hard time believing that anything like 84 excimer laser based DUV steppers were shipped last quarter. Am I wrong on this? Are they all buying now in anticipation of much greater production in the near future? -Ritz
