Hello Frank. Yes. Dell's earnings were great and the CC was not too bad either. We could have another rally in the techs tomorrow if we believe the NAZ futures. Looking good at this time. I guess we got lucky today that retailers had less sales. What a pity when you have to hope for less wealth, less sales, less housing starts, less income and more unemployment. Capitalism at its best or somebody is screwing up. Sheesh. And I have been waiting to buy a new car which I have to do one of these days. Now I am wondering when it's safe to do so. I have postponed buying new clothes this year because we have been told that we are buying like drunken sailors. Since I was a Sailor at one time, I thought some of those pundits were talking directly to me. gg. I guess now I have to do with the old. I sure don't want the retail sales to go up because of me. gg. Intel, Mot and lots of the semis came roaring back today. Intel more so than MOT. Some of those so called analysts and business writers are getting worse than ever. This MOT downgrade yesterday did those techs a lot of damage. I have no idea what this analyst was thinking bringing out old news that is not even substantiated yet. MOT losing a big customer. Those guys are just dying to make a name for themselves, no matter how stupid. Hope he will not be right in the end. I don't own MOT. We had beautiful weather here today also, now that my air condition got fixed late yesterday afternoon. But at least things did not get quite as hot since last Sat. as it did in Los Alamos. What a tragic mess. How can anybody even think about setting a brush fire to stop a fire from happening evtl. when everything is dry and so windy? Good thing all this material is locked up good in that LAB. Unfortunately people living in that City did not fare as well. Now there will be an investigation how something like this could happen. I have a little hint. Strong winds and dry weather. Coming back to Dell. Niles was finally wrong. Underestimated Dell's quarter. But I will not hold it against him as long as he upgrades Dell to a buy tomorrow. gg. Enjoy your trip. Sonny
