Everybody knows low PE is not good thing nowadays, but, on the other side of the equator, you had better get your butt covered when the PE gets high. As I said in other postings, MSFT is the origin of all this bull market. The whole software industry is creating a lot of excess in product features and is becoming counter productive. It is up to the economy to decide whether such luxury can be supported. Let's face it, all the fancy features the industry is busting their tails creating is not necessarily out of customer demands, they might be doing it just for survival!

You really think Word 7.0 would help one to write a better letter to grandma than the Winword 2.0a? Much of the beautiful print-outs produced by these constantly being upgraded sophisticated software are garbage. A one miniute hand writing would now be replaced by a 10 minute artwork creation. And all we want to say is "Grandma, I love you!"

I hear you have done your homework. I give you an A++.
