IMPCO Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: IMCO) today announced it has signed a master distributor agreement with American Isuzu Motors Inc., PowerTrain Division (AIMI-PT). The agreement between IMPCO and AIMI-PT, calls for AIMI-PT to distribute General Motors Powertrain industrial engines that are designed, engineered and packaged by IMPCO's Industrial Engine Systems Division located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. AIMI-PT's North American distribution network will provide a full line of petrol and gasified engines and related products to customers in the industrial, materials handling, construction, agriculture and other markets. These new products will complement AIMI-PT's existing diesel engine line.

Brad Garner, IES Managing Director, said, "We are pleased to announce this very important agreement as it combines two
exceptionally talented organizations that dovetail distribution aptitude with high-quality product. AIMI-PT was a natural choice as a partner to distribute IES products throughout North America. Our gasified and petrol engine packages complement the current range of reliable and durable diesel engines, which are recognized around the world."

"This agreement forms an important step in implementing IMPCO's strategy of providing complete engine/fuel system capabilities to the industrial market. Last year we set up a new division, the Industrial Engine Systems Division in Sterling Heights, Michigan, to developthe product and organizational infrastructure to move this strategy into reality. Now, with AIMI-PT, we have a powerful marketing partner which will assure maximum marketplace coverage throughout North America," Mr. Garner said.

Not sure how big the Isuzu biz. will be, but mo' production sounds great.
