<I just cant see this being the end of the hard times. I would have expected to hear a little more crying from the masses.....all the AOL , CSCO, MSFT, QCOM, YHOO, INTC, DELL, ect... stock holders that have held on for 3 to 5 years to actually see losses.>
They may yet see those losses over the next couple of years. But it doesn't pay to hold grudges or hostilities in the financial markets or in life. That is a recipe for financial ruin and unhappiness. Moreover, resentment is a cheap emotion. Each trading day is a new moon. I don't fully understand either how these markets reached their lofty levels. I try to understand though, and above all, adapt somewhat. In a way, I understand what is going on. In another way, I don't. Technically, these markets make some sense to me. Fundamentally, they don't. But that is because I'm more value oriented than growth oriented. PE's, Book Value, Cash Flow, Long Term Debt, Price to Sales, etc; mean something to me. I could've become a billionaire by now if I threw away those concepts. But I'll survive and profit nevertheless, and above all, I know I'll die a happy death. |
