I actually have continued to use the product (Cybertrader) Many of the problems I was having appear to have been caused by a poor data feed , though it's hard to be sure exactly.

Using a different feed (my old dialup vs DSL has improved reliability.

The way the program responds to dropped packets and long lag times probably could be improved. It seems to choke a bit and throws up multiple warning windows , one for each major connection , that are difficult to close. Just seems like it could be cleaner. RealTic appears to handle disconnects much better.
