Jerry - Dipy presented a pretty good explanation of "safe harbor" statements. I particularly agree that management has been pretty honest about risks. If companies fail to warn investors about such risks that actually occur, they are subject to law suits filed by big investors. Every time an entire sector falls such as semiconductor cap equipment last year or networking more recently, the lawyers are busy.

I continue to make the wrong assumption that before investors buy stock in a company, they have done their homework including a thorough review of the annual report. So you make an excellent point. If investors had really done their homework, there should have been no surprise at what has transpired here in the past year.

Regards
Jeff
