Now that you've had a chance to play music off your hard drive, is it really satisfying?

Mark, while the sound quality isn't as good as on my home stereos it's not that bad. And it's easier just to open napster and build a playlist of a dozen songs or so than it is to use my CD player.
but it's my 13 year old who is most active on napster, and he's far less discriminating than I am.

But beyond that, it's a great way to sample music. After getting a couple songs from a CD I'm thinking of picking up, I'll listen to them a few times and if I still like them, I buy it. And I've discovered some great music when I've downloaded songs by mistake.

I've also found that doing other things on the computer doesn't affect listening to napster files, but it does frequently with other net music, like spinner.com.
